My buddy and my favorite airplane.  It just doesn't get any better! That's a Great Planes Giles 202 kit w/ Thunder Tiger .91 4 stroke, custom molded cowl to cover the engine head, Caine the Rottweiler.  Wish I could lick my nose like that.

A LeMans start seemed appropriate.  The first turn was murder with lots of bumps and spinouts.

Missing something?  I guess I dived this Something Extra too fast when I heard a loud BOOM!  After landing without incident, it was evident that I exploded the Monokote!
